Engine hour meter was replaced on port side. Actual hours may be slightly higher than recorded. This broker started and ran the engines recently. They start quickly with very little smoke at start up.
US Marine generator in sound enclosure.
Batteries are of unknown age, inverter/charger replaced fall of 2021 as well as shore power inlets.
Generator diesel engine starts and runs but does not generate power from the electrical end. A recent repair bid to fix the generator came in at $8,366. AS long as you are plugged into shore power the generator is not needed but if you were to travel and anchor out getting it fixed would make sense.
Photos of rusty motor mounts show lots of rust. Marine mechanical inspections since have noted the rust but found the engine mounts to be in good working order with recommendations to clean and paint.

This Bayliner is all fiberglass construction with wood-cored decks. The owners have used it as a live-aboard and made day trips out on Lake Union. The engines get started and run up to temperature every few months. The owners have used the boat pretty much only as a "live-aboard" location on Lake Union.
The Bayliner 45-series Motoryacht is a popular pilothouse model. With three staterooms, comfortable pilothouse, large cockpit and spacious flybridge. It is a great design for all-season cruising in the Pacific Northwest.
The cockpit has a hardtop and a ladder for access to the flybridge. It also has a gate to the large swim platform. The flybridge has wraparound seating on the port and starboard side, while the helm is offset to port. While the upholstery on the flybridge has some UV damage it still is useable and comfortable. Aft of the flybridge seating there is a dinghy davit and space for kayaks or a tender.
The foredeck can be accessed by sliding pilothouse doors on either side. There is built-in bow seating on the foredeck - perfect for taking in the view on the sunny Northwest days! There is a bimini frame on the flybridge but no canvas.
For moorage the over all length is 50 feet.
Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

Enter the salon from the cockpit through a sliding, wood framed door. Clean carpets greet you with a nice L-shaped settee to port. A large flat screen TV is mounted to starboard. The salon is large, very clean and comfortable. The galley is a "U" shape ahead to port with electric Princess three burner stove. The fridge is a Norcold and appears to be original. The trash compactor has been removed in favor of more storage space. A double basin sink with overhead storage makes for a nice galley. There is a microwave as well. To starboard is a bar sink and the ice maker has been removed in favor of a new small fridge next to the bar. Modern LED light fixtures make the spaces feel warm and well-lit.
Stepping up forward is the pilothouse which has a nice elevated helm chair plus a comfortable bench seat and table.
Pilothouse doors out both sides of this area access the foredeck.
Steps down from the salon provide access to the staterooms. The guest cabin to port is now missing the mattress as the owners used this room as a walk-in closet. Across from which on starboard is the first head with electric macerator toilet and a shower. Forward and to port is the bunk cabin. This converts to an office if desired. Forward is the master cabin with center queen berth and head with tub to starboard.
In the hallway forward to port is a "non-working" washer/dryer across from which is a central vac system never used by the current owners.
Heat is supplied by electric wall mounted heaters controlled by zone controlling thermostats.

The Bayliner 4550/4588 was one of the most popular pilothouse boats Bayliner (and anyone else) has ever built. This boat is moored in a transferable, live aboard slip on the Seattle ship canal. Recent repairs and upgrades to systems totaling near $27,000, with receipts, (This year) make this a boat a very good value at current reduced asking price. Some photos show blue accent stripes. Those stripes have been removed as they were badly deteriorated.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
