Boatshed Wales is pleased to offer for sale this Drascombe Lugger — "Sandpiper."
A classic example of this much-loved day boat, Sandpiper presents in very original and well-cared-for condition.
During our inspection and media session, we lightly rigged the boat and found the standing and running rigging, sails, spars, and mast all to be in excellent condition. The boat is powered by a Honda 5hp four-stroke outboard, with approximately 50 hours of light use and a record of annual servicing by main dealers.
Included in the sale is a single-axle trailer, which has been used lightly and stored under cover. The trailer is in good condition, benefitting from regular maintenance and recently fitted with two new wheels. A brand-new, custom-made cockpit cover is also included.
Overall, Sandpiper presents very well — a smart Drascombe Lugger complete with engine and trailer, ready to tow away and sail.
