Boatshed London are delighted to present this 31m Dutch Barge for sale with leasehold mooring at Plantation Wharf, Battersea.
The barge was designed and rebuilt by SRF Harlingen in 2017 and no expense has been spared to create a superb family home. This is a great looking barge from the outside and the interior more than matches up to it. The materials used throughout are of the highest quality and the layout makes fantastic use of the space available.
The large wheelhouse, which doubles up as a spectacular dining room, is a superb place for entertaining and leads down to the separate aft cabin which has its own galley and ensuite meaning it can be rented out to a tenant.
Forward of the wheelhouse is the split level galley and living area. There is a removable staircase that leads up to the roof terrace. Up at the bow is a double cabin with another ensuite heads and shower room.
Amidships is the spacious master cabin with a bath and shower ensuite and separate heads.
The whole boat is wired up for internet in each room along with a Sonos system. There is air conditioning and an air filtration system pumping clean air into the boat continuously.
The mooring at Plantation Wharf is held on a long lease of over 100 years and is fully transferable with the barge. As the mooring is a leasehold, it is a mortgageable asset. The owner is also open to selling the boat without the leasehold mooring for an asking price of £500,000.
